van Dyk and the American part
with the islands St John and St
Thomas. In order to sail in the
American part, you will need a
visa. Customs regulations must
be observed.

English Harbour is one of the
safest and most beautiful
natural harbours in the
Caribbean. The historic docks
are an oasis for yachtsmen and
tourists, and received the
status of natural reserve in
1985. A number of small
businesses and shops are
accommodated in the carefully
restored buildings.
Heading for the harbour by day
is simple, with only the
Charlotte Reef requiring some
attention. It is not advisable
to steer into the harbour at
night, due to the lack of proper
beacons. The port offers all
conceivable services. |
